Despite the fact that many humans in Paeratopa are simply seen as food, there is still a semblance of intimacy in the vore process; most predators prefer to consume their prey in private, and prefer to focus upon just one victim.
There are some exceptions of course, with some predators having no qualms about public consumption; Emily is an example of the other sort of exception, as she particularly enjoys multiple prey. She is also a minority in that she almost exclusively consumes female prey, having preference for their often sweeter taste. (an uncommon preference, though not necessarily rare.)
