You are Prey: Choose your own action story
In this choose your own story, you have fallen victim to a predator and now you re trapped with in this being. This predator will continue on with its life despite the fact it has a being inside. Your job is to do what you can before you pass on. Perhaps if you try hard enough, you may just get out alive.
Your Pred:
Lufa Deria
Age: 24
Height: 6' 02”
Young vixen who while may be a predator, isn't very cruel.
Her opinion: “As much as I don't want to, I gotta eat. Its a harsh life but its my life...”
(as the story goes on you have an opportunity to learn more about her)
The Respect meter:
One of the most important objects to keep an eye out for, the respect meter shows how well the current pred likes or dislikes you through your actions. It ranges from 1%-100% and is divided in to 5 areas.
Almost Certain Death:
1%-20%
You must have done some to royally tick off the pred. Not only does she want you dead, she will make it as miserable as possible. Perhaps though you can succeed through this though if you play your cards right. (Warning: in this area, digestion will speed up)
Aggressive
21%-40%
Well you aren't on her bright side. This will result in more arguments as well as more harmful teasing to you. Despite this, you still have a chance of changing her mind and her heart.
Neutral:
41%-60%
Shes not mad at you but shes not happy ether. In this area she will tend to ignore or leave you alone. Its also the tide changing area whether you get on her good side or bad. (Note: Even doing the best or worse action will cause the respect meter to stop in this area depending on what side.*)
Kindhearted:
61%-80%
Your doing something right. In this area the predator will become more friendly, perhaps even start up conversations or offer more comfortable options. Though she does like you it is not enough to escape.
Warm fuzzy feeling:
81%-100%
Through great word play, kind actions and overall goodness, the predator is now second guessing what they are doing and perhaps debating whether your more valuable as a friend then a meal. (Note: Digestion speed may decreases.)
While this may seem very cut and dry (do good things get good results, do bad things and get bad results) life isn't that simple.
Some actions will sometimes have adverse affects.
By telling her that she is beautiful and rubbing her belly at the wrong time may make her think your trying to suck up to her, causing a negative affect.
While struggling around in a weaken state may please her, causing a good affect.
Some action may also be duds.
In this game of life and death, timing is key to what you wish to happen.
Digestion Meter:
Your predator may have eaten you but your not dead....yet. The digestion meter is your clock. At a rate of 5% per hour, you have 20 hours to escape your pred. At 75% the choices will start to have more impact and at 90%, your predator will make the final decision if you should die by her own stomach or not.
Action choosing:
Choosing which action to take is simple. Simply write in the comments below of which action you wish to take. These three examples are listed below.
>Do nothing
>Attack (Aggression -10)
>Talk to (Kindness +10)
Actions with out a Respect reference will have unknown affects and are the most common of all actions. Results vary and there outcomes are unknown.
Actions with a Respect reference is undeniable and will happen, causing the points with that action to be added on if it is chosen.
Once a certain amount of time passes, the comments will be tallied up and the action will be preformed in the next part. The other part will be deleted but will still be seen in the next part as well as the choice that was preformed.
Good luck fellow preys out there! And try not to be digested.
(*If the respect level is 65% and a -30% action was chosen, the respect bar will only go down to 41%, making the character neutral rather then aggressive. Like wise if its 35% and choose a +30%, it will stop at 60%)
