Tempting as it might be for me to say this is mindless, this has more plot and feels more satisfying than half the work I've read. It's simple, effective and a total jerk gets exactly what it deserves whilst not being, surprisingly, insulting to religion as I worried it might be. Nice.
I tried not to hate religion, as much as I'm atheist, I appreciate how religion can bring people together and make people want to do the right thing (mostly).
I was raised in a christian envirorment as well. Not catholic, but still. God and religion are not the same. God is the cause of everything. The force that created and sustains everything. Religion is man's effort to understand the cause (God).

Thanks for the compliment all the same.

You too, looking forward to your next masterpiece.

The writing was very vivid and colorful. That thing however sounds more like the Devil than anything else.

no, it's "god", I'm just going of the old testament "mess with free will" version because I'm atheist and it made for better writing.

This is well-written indeed. I like the questions arised by the criminal but the moral of the story is rather ambiguous.

there is no moral, it was more a clash of religion, with a bit of vore in it.

God and religion are different things.

God (the christian God)...because I was raised in a catholic environment.

Can we agree to disagree over that point, this argument is optional.

Sure.
