Nice story.
I really enjoyed reading this story.
Your style is good, the story detailed (not to long and not to short, for my taste absolutely perfect).
Like magekazin already wrote (okay, he used other words ^^"), I hope that you will continue writing stories and also sharing these incredible works with the community!

Really great story, with an equally great idea behind it. You've got a ton of potential.
Only criticisms are a continuity error: first she's on her back, then the snake flips her over...and the story goes on as if she was flipped onto her back instead of onto her stomach, with no mention of any more flipping at any point (Practically speaking, it's confusing to the reader); secondly, you repeated a couple phrases ("to no avail") really close together, so try and avoid that in the future.
Your level of detail is excellent, though I'd love to see even more if you want to try it.
