When you're an intern starting out in a big, prestigious company, working under the head of the department, you tend to do whatever your boss tells you. If she tells you to pick up something for her, you bend down and grab it. If she tells you to get her coffee, you'll immediately remember which kind she prefers, and fetch it immediately. If she tells you to skip lunch break, and leave your clothes in the employee bathroom... You might squeak out a question, but the look in her eye both silences you and lets you know she has a reason for it. She just has your future in mind, right? Nothing but the best intentions, right..?
