Playing on ones phone can be distracting at the best of times. If only Daz hadn't been distracted by his, he would have seen the monster hanging from the tree. :<
Some time ago I was having a go at coming up with monsters to eat Daz. This is just a very lazy attempt at another one. As well as anteater, it was partially inspired by the barnacles from the Half-Life series. :B

I had a pred much like this at one point. Based on the anteater from the Samorost flash game ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQmYrkQShfU ), it hid in trees and lowered its trunk to suck people up like a predatory hose monster. It lacked the tongue action we see here, though. 83

I did one, which I am looking for. Eblis is pretty much an anthro anteater and I've drawn him a lot. There's this story here about an anteater taught to eat people:

I like the concept of the last one, I may have to have a go at sketching something similar involving Daz. X3
