Bio: Tick used to be a simple toy that once belonged to Racci when she was young. After an experimental gem was placed into her chest, she came to life and her normally hard body became soft and malleable. When it became obvious that they were going to take the gem away from her, she retaliated and escaped. Once she was on her own, she soon discovered that the gem would stop working unless she re-energized it....and the best way to do that would be to eat and absorb actual food. She ALSO discovered, through many trials and experiments of her own, that if she has enough energy built up in her gem, then she can grow to a much bigger size. (Her record was the size of a house for at least fifteen minutes.)

History: Before Tick was "Brought to life" she used to be Racci's favorite toy as a child. Aside from her mother and Ely, Racci considered Tick to be her very best friend. The young mare took Tick everywhere with her, including to school a few times. Tick got so beat up in the hooves of the filly (as well as by some pretty mean Bullies a few times) her father took it upon himself to make Tick the child's equivalent of being indestructible. Even when Racci was taken that night, she still reached out towards her little friend.

For some reason, Tick was later taken from the house as well. Nopony knows why Racci's father wanted the toy, but he still ordered that it be taken in for their latest experiment. The experiment involved a tiny gem that, once it was applied to an object, would turn it into a deadly weapon of its own. After the gem was placed into Tick's body, she miraculously came to life. Her hard, jointed body became soft and bendable and her plastic wings began lifting her off the ground. Seeing this spectacle, the scientists deemed the test a success and made to remove the gem to mass manufacture it. Strangely enough, though, Tick didn't want to become a simple toy again. Her reluctance grew so immense just then that, somehow, the gem increased her body's size, allowing her to escape from their grasp and the facility she was in.

Once she had escaped, Tick flew around, looking for her original owner. She couldn't remember much of her life as a toy, but now that she was "Alive" she was determined to find her.

Through.......various incidents.....Tick discovered the powers of her gem and learned to harness them. Her body was pretty strong, stronger than a normal Pixie's, and even though she was sometimes eaten, she came out....well enough. Her size manipulation powers depended on how much she ate before using them. More energy means more height, though she prefers to only turn into a giant when she's really mad or really hungry. Fruit is her preferred energy source, though she will gladly eat a pony when she can. Because she often eats when she's Pony sized, she usually shrinks back down after a good meal, but her stretchy belly always conforms around her "Meal".
