Name: Aqua (MOST ORIGINAL SEAPONY NAME! I KNOW -_-)

Likes: Swimming around, Jumping into the air, Eating kelp and fish with the occasional pony, Watching beach goers and surfers, star gazing
Hates: Being in small places, Being watched/hunted, Sea urchins and other such fish, Other predatory fish

Bio: Aqua actually isn't a traditional "Kelpie", or "Seapony" if you prefer. She is actually a strange cross of a sea snake, a river fish and a pony. Because of her snake like qualities, she doesn't digest anything very quickly. Regular food takes a day or so, depending on how much she's eaten, and any prey, pony or otherwise, take about a week. She CANNOT reform her prey. She swims pretty fast and she knows her way around her hunting ground, rarely leaving it unless she has to. She has the ability to move oxygen from her gills into her stomach for her prey to breath, though sometimes she doesn't do that, especially if her prey is being digested. She's also pretty forgetful, sometimes even forgetting if her prey wants to be digested or not.

History: Aqua didn't use to be a Kelpie, but a pegasus in the clouds. She loved the feeling of being free in the sky as a filly, but as she grew older she soon found that her love could not be her life. Her wings were stunted, and though they should have grown to an adequate length the bigger she grew, they instead seemed to shrivel up. Her parents were devastated, but none more so than Aqua. As a young mare, it was decided that she could not live safely in the sky, so the family moved her to a small beach town instead.

Normally, a stunted pegasus like her would have simply sulked, but the feeling of being somewhere new helped her adjust more quickly. When she discovered the ocean, though, she fell in love all over again. She couldn't be free in the sky, but the ocean was a close second to her. She learned how to surf and watch out for others at the beach, and her parents managed to buy a surfing shop. Aqua had finally gotten the life she, more or less, wanted......except it couldn't last.

She was ridiculed and laughed at for her tiny wings. A pegasus who can't fly? That's ridiculous! The taunts, as she grew older, got worse and worse, soon driving her mad. In her madness, she decided to figure out a way to fly. It just so happened that a subsidary of the EATME corporation was looking for test subjects, so Aqua naturally volunteered in hopes of flying again. She underwent vigorous experiments, some for her wings, some for her body, and one for her very mind. When she was finally ready for a test flight, Aqua was no longer the same mare.

When the test began, she took off, fully prepared to fly out and show them all that she COULD fly......but something went wrong. Aqua, instead of flying, plummeted straight into the ocean. The scientists couldn't figure out how to make her fly again, so they instead made a better swimmer without telling her, but the results were still.....bad. The tracker they had placed inside of her head didn't work like it should have, and they lost her. When EATME found out about the loss, the subsidary was shut down and Aqua's family was left to mourn. ((SHEESH this is a long bio! O_O ))

Unknown to anypony, though, Aqua had survived. The changes that the scientists made worked! To an extent........her tiny wings were lost, but her body turned...fish like.....and her lower legs became a long tail. When she saw the transformation, she was shocked and scared, but she soon discovered that she could swim fast and fluently, even being able to do incredible jumps into the air. Aqua could FLY through the WATER and she couldn't be happier.

Through a great many trials and errors, the mare found that her stomach had become similar to a snake, so she used this to help her rescue drowning ponies in the water. This changed her eating habits greatly, turning her herbivorous nature into more of an omnivorous one. She greatly enjoys eating live fish when she can catch them, and she does digest a pony or two every now and then, but only if they're mean to her or just willing. She knows a couple of actual Kelpies herself, but she's made it pretty clear that if any of them hunt in her territory then she'll get.......nasty....and hungry. She hasn't told her family that she's alive. Aqua has quickly realized that, due to her Kelpie qualities, she would be seen as dangerous. She's not even sure if they would even believe that she is, in fact their daughter.

Aqua now spends her days swimming around the beach that she loves and the surrounding ocean, sometimes wiping out a surfer or two so that her parents get some more business.
