I don't know it could be my contrast, but it is litterally impossible to read without highlighting all the words. Not kidding if my face is more then 6 inches away from the screen on your pages the words are near invisible.
Ever been screened for blue-yellow colorblindness? It's a pretty rare type, but it exists in both men and women. It'd adequately explain why yellow-on-indigo seems to blend so badly for you :o
Na I got solid collor vision. I can in all other situations distinguish yellow text on blue, on purple on red. Your page just bleds together so badly. I's not like Im having trouble seeing the color, it just gets blurry against that particular shade of purple.
I just took a screen cap of this coversation and used the burn tool in Photoshop to darken the purple just a tad, and it was instantly infinantly clearer.
I think the collors are too close in levels of saturation.
It could be, but I still think that Desaturated Gold On Desaturated purple does not for a clear combination make. I've never had a problem reading any other text on this or any other side, like this. The Green button pops up clear as day though.
I have trouble seeing the text where your wispy yellow laser lights criss-cross in the middle of your background image. Overall, I usually don't have a problem but it means I need to scroll the page a little from time to time.
Yellow is only the compliment of one shade of purple. I would say that the compliment of this purple would be a lime green or maybe even slightly darker green. Which is why I thinky I can clearly read the buttoin.

Man the yello text that your page uses makes it near impossible to read. For some reason it just blends in with he perple.

That's the first time I've ever heard that. In fact, I've had others say the opposite––that the yellow-on-indigo is very easy to read. :o
