Mamuieneh (singular. Mamuienatl)
Physical Description
The Mamuieneh are an all-female species of anthropomorphic, mermaid-like mosasaurus with snake-like tails. The upper body of a Mamuienatl is typically 6 feet tall (1.82 meters) while the tail is about 48 feet long (14.63 meters), giving it a total length of 54 feet (16.45 meters)! Their immense size coupled with their equally impressive strength, leads the Mamuieneh to be the apex predators and unquestioned queens of the ocean.

Like most other species on Mahwali, the Mamuieneh are quite long-lived and individuals have been known to reach over 300 years of age. They retain their youthful looks throughout their adult life, even Mamuieneh who die of old age do not look a day older than 25 years. Death by old age is caused by internal organ failure, typically the heart.

Although Mamuieneh possess lungs and breathe air, their skin make them vulnerable to hydration loss and their great size makes it difficult for them to move around on land. A Mamuienatl can stay out of water for up to one hour without ill effects, but after that she will start to feel the effects of dehydration and will most likely die if she stays out of water for more than three hours. Because of this, the Mamuieneh like the other aquatic races are extremely limited in their tool use, to the point where few use any tools at all.

The womb of a Mamuienatl is located in her upper body, while her stomach stretch from her upper body and runs throughout her tail.

The Mamuieneh reproduce through parthenogenesis, but a Mamuienatl daughter is not clone of her mother and has only half the mother's genetic material.

The Mamuienatl digestive system is extremely efficient to the point where it leaves no waste-matter. Not only that, but even the womb can serve as a stomach.
Due to this efficient digestive system, Mamuieneh gain much more calories and nutrition from their meals.

Mamuieneh are physiologically and neurologically wired to experience sexual stimulation by swallowing prey alive. Because of this, the Mamuienatl body has several adaptations to make up for this species feeding behavior. Their internal organs are very strong and resistant to damage, unfortunately this also causes them to fail after a few centuries.

It is easy for Mamuieneh to maintain their milk production throughout their adult lives, which is very curious considering that the Mamuieneh are solitary and do not live in groups. This can be very troublesome for well-fed Mamuieneh, as they are prone to suffer from milk stasis, which leads to breast pains. This makes it necessary for Mamuieneh to adapt their behavior in order to prevent and recover from the condition. For instance, some Mamuieneh accomplish this by forcefully breastfeeding their prey, while others form symbiotic relationship with local species wherein they feed their symbionts in return for favors and services.

Reproduction and Sexuality
The reproduction process is triggered by an intense and prolonged desire to have children, this releases biochemicals which cause one or more egg cells to be released into the uterus where they begin prenatal development.

Because of their solitary lifestyles and territoriality, Mamuieneh have virtually no sexual relationships with members of their own species. Worse yet, mothers grow increasingly aggressive towards their own daughters as they reach adulthood and may even come to view them as food.

Strangely though, despite all this, Mamuieneh have just as many sexual urges as the other species of Mahwali. To cope with these urges, they often act them out on their prey.

Behavior
Because of their great size, each individual Mamuienatl needs a large territory to stay healthy and well-fed, and this territory will be fiercly defended against intruding Mamuieneh.
When not hunting, a Mamuienatl will sometimes "sing" to advertise her territory and keep members of her own species away. The song also serves as an important indicator of how capable the resident Mamuienatl is at defending her territory: the complexity of the song shows off her intelligence and creativity, while its amplitude and tone indicates her size and health.
The only Mamuieneh presence an individual tolerates is that of her own daughters, and even then they will only be tolerated until they reach adulthood.

When two adult Mamuieneh encounter one another, they enter a state of ritualised aggression, during which they both attempt to intimidate each other until one of them leaves. If this fails, they will fight one another until one of them gives up. If none of them gives up, the fight continues until one of them is killed, usually in the belly of the victor.

Mamuieneh are curious, imaginative, playful, fearless, and quick to try new things, but they are also selfish and cruel.

As apex predators, Mamuieneh can prey on anything they set their sights on, sometimes even sinking ships to devour the entire crew, and because of their great size, they have no predators other than members of their own species.

A Mamuienatl usually spend her leisure time by singing to make her presence known, patrolling her territory, and dominating the creatures within it.

Because of their solitary nature, the only sources of knowledge for the Mamuieneh are their mothers during their childhood and the people they come into contact with. For this very reason, many Mamuieneh maintain a more beneficial relationship with some people in order to gain knowledge.

Mamuieneh and the World
While a member of the Olchehmeh races, the Mamuieneh are one of the most feared creatures of Mahwali, being known as "mo alanchanel jatekichi" (the singing death) and "mo kehnkichi mo meal laol" (the calm before the storm). Whenever they are seen or heard, most flee the area out of fear, resulting in a Mamuienatl's presence often being accompanied by a hauntingly silent atmosphere which is only broken by their own song or the screams of their victims.

Their size makes it impossible for anyone but another Mamuienatl to devour an adult individual, and their strength and ferocity is unmatched, to the point where most members of the other races are of the opinion that the only outcome of a Mamuienatl encounter is survival or death.

The Mamuieneh also have a profound impact on trade, as they sometimes sink cargo ships to devour everyone on board while ignoring any inedible cargo.
