Trying my hand at digital painting on this one. Some parts I like, Some parts I don't. Took me like 3 hours though, so I don't see myself doing a lot of these. Didn't go dark enough on the shadows, probably woulda looked a lot better with more contrast... plus I didn't realize how much I missed when I tried to clean up. Lots of overflow on the linework I hadn't noticed.

To answer some questions, Yes, Meryl actually DOES have 8 limbs, she just prefers pants made for normal humanoids.

Had to re-upload because the thumbnail broke it.

Could you have made the lines a little darker? Also, spiders are awesome.

I was actually trying to suppress the linework as much as possible, seeing if I could get it done with just the shading. Didn't quite turn out how I liked and I had to break down and put lines in here and there. Feel like if I had made my darks a little darker then it wouldn't have been necessary. Ah well.

And yes, spiders are awesome.
