In a post-apocalyptic world, where nubile young women and giant voracious worm-monsters are the only ones left . . . eehh, I think you know where this is going. xP
Anyway, this is the first winner of my recently revived Vignette Theater, and it just so happens you can vote on the next round here if you want, though the poll will close on Sep 17.
This one ended up a good bit longer and more elaborate than usual for my vignette winners, so hopefully it was worth the wait.

If it is the end of the world and the world is full of tentacle monsters, taking Japanese school girls with you is basically painting a target on your group ;)

The Apocalypse sucks but your stories never do!
I loved the description of Felicity's plight... Having seen the other girls stripped down and devoured she knew exactly what was in store for her but she almost thought she could make it before she got tentacled (is that a word? it should be), stripped, slimed and eaten.
May I say it? I've grown fond of the stripping part. It adds a moment of almost relief between the capture and subduing and the inevitable ingestion. Although I don't think the girls see it that way. :)
I hope Maya is not too cross with her... :)

Thanks very much! I have to admit I'm very fond of the stripping part myself, which I suppose is semi-obvious given my penchant for putting it in most of my stories. ;3
And I'm sure Maya will be far to occupied with her impending digestion, to worry much about holding a grudge.

Having started out as a blob fan, I have never given much thought to the disrobing phase (blobs do not care if we're dressed or not, they wrap, engulf and digest) but those poor creatures have delicate throats, esophagi and stomachs that could be irritated by our clothing, shoes and assorted accessories.
Those who do not lurk in the showers at least. :)
You're right about Maya... Being covered in digestive slime and slowly dissolved must be a little distracting.

Ya'know, that reminds me . . . it's been way too long since the last time I wrote something blob-related. Gonna have to at least throw one into my Vignette Theater rotation next time.

Ooooh good. But what about an invasion of Scyllian Thyble-Worms in a cheerleader squad's showers? I don't know why but I have a soft spot for this creature, and I have a feeling that after finding out that it can easily find a good meal in a shower it will probably call some friends. :)

Ha! I like the way you think! And given that that particular dimension-hopping worm starred in (if I recall) my very first Vignette Theater, it seems only proper to give it another outing after all these years. And showering cheerleaders are downright irresistible to many species of giant invertebrate carnivores. :3
So I'd say there's a pretty good chance of something like that popping up at some point. :D

At least Felicity & co were spared the indignity of having to compete in a dance contest... Maybe they're among the first victims before the postapocalyptic society gets established?
And does this mean we'll get more stories set in the Apocalypse That Sucked setting? :)

Yeah, I figure this one with Felicity & co takes place a good while before Slave Dance, since it's mostly just everyone running about in a panic and getting gobbled up by the dozens for the first few months at least. :3
While I don't have anything underway at the moment, I'd say there's a pretty good chance of more 'Apocalypse That Sucked' stories at some point in the future, since I find I rather enjoy the setting.

Thanks! This one may be a bit old, but really stands up in my opinion.
If this is the sort of thing you read at bedtime, I think I may have figured out why you sometimes have vore dreams. ;P
