I know I never touched on this before and occasionally having to correct people on why Ivalice is referred to as a "Virus-fox" and not just a normal fox just made me want to make this picture.

So yeah, Ivalice has the ability to control those who have a piece of her inside them, no matter how small the piece may be. This usually manifests in the form of ears popping up on the subject's head. Ivalice may choose whether to control her servants or leave them in a semi-hypnotic state that keeps them from disobeying her.

Ivalice also has some other neat abilities in tandem with those she's possessed. She has the ability to absorb the person's body from the inside out, converting them into another Ivalice to act of their own accord.

Ivalice rarely uses this ability because she likes eating people too much to have someone do it for her, not to mention having to contest with herself for Miles' affection would be quite awkward for everyone.

That is a very interesting ability, with some very humorous consequences if "abused" xD (aka she starts to clone herself)

I'm just guessing, but she could also use hair to enable her control over others right? So that means all she would really need to do is somehow managed to work her hair into a high school cafeteria (puns on the food quality aside) and wait for a "buffet" to be prepared for her to gobble up without struggle xD

This is all quite possible for her. She could also inject herself into her victim via any opening in their body, whether created or natural.
