Chris decided to act immediately and follow Samantha and Sally. He didn't really know what he would do, but he had to do something, he couldn't let Sam out of his sights if there was a hungry dragon following her. He tried his best to act natural, trying to look over the books as he followed. He caught a glimpse of the dragon looking at him over her shoulder, and in an attempt to draw attention away form himself, he stopped and pulled a random book from the shelf.

Samantha had reached the bookshelf she was looking for and pulled out a few books with an unaware, happy smile on her feline face. Chris pretended to read the back cover while occasionally looking to see what the dragon or Sam were doing. Sally kept glancing from Chris to Samantha, something about the way she carried herself had changed.
