I'd suggest always keeping a layer based file for images you're working on and exporting a final .png image once you're happy with everything. That way if you ever spot an error, you can go back and fix it and export a fresh and improved version.
What program are you working with? Because, with whatever it is, you ought to save a file in that program's specific format if you can, just in case you want to touch it up without having it compress too much. I know I'm that way with my .psd files.

It's great looking! If I had to say something negative, I'd say that the gore should have a little more variation, maybe a visible bone or two.

I'd recommend saving as .png whenever you can. It'll produce much nicer quality, and there's no reason not to. :P

Alright. I'll do that for the final save. Otherwise it condenses all the layers when I go to open it again.
