My monstergirls (and Shinku) gather sometimes and do stuff together.

This time, Aisha, the mermaid and Naamah the Arachne suggested to make a live music performance.

It took some convincing, but in the end, everyone participated.

Naamah, the Arachne, had fun playing with her spider-web stringed guitar.

Shinku, the human, finally had a chance to show her friends the lessons of violin she took when she still lived wih her parents in the Capital City of the Human Community.

Serpis, the Naga, happily played the large drum, while hungrily eyeing the mousegirl making the tambourine sound. Her human friend has to remind her to stop staring at her fellow band member and to focus on the drumming.

Saeta the Harpy is playing an ocarina, blowing hard as she flies, but with just a hand, playing this instrument is surprisingly difficult!

Emily, the Mousegirl, had trouble focusing on playing her tambourine as she felt several hungry stares focused on her, buth from the audience and even from her fellow musician friends.

Enda, the Slimegirl, played the triangle. ...she was not happy with her instrument, but it was the only one she understood how to actually play. In her opinion this whole situation is dumb. Music s dumb! Ò^Ó

Aisha, the Mermaid, had a lot of fun singing with her microphone. It was not plugged or anything, but some sound magic was used to make the song louder, thus reaching the audience.

Rinne, the Tailcubus, played the trombone, though she had trouble understanding that she was supposed to blow on the tip to make the instrument make noise, instead of sucking the instrument, which is what she tried to do for several hours as the girls rehearsed the play.

Not pictured:

Miaomi the Catgirl, pawing confusedly her portable piano.

Blume, the Plant-girl, who played the xylophon for a while before getting bored and stuffing the catgirl trying to play the piano into her pitcher.
She also stuffed in the piano, to let Miaomi play with it while she was absorbed into her plant body.

I figured the only music they liked listening to was the sweet moans there pray makes while playing with them before they eat them :V

They certainly love those noises, but some normal music is fine, too. Though, some of them like it more than others.

Quite the eclectic ensemble. I laugh at the fact that Enda is not thrilled with playing triangle. No one ever wants to play triangle.

I mean, what incredible melodies can you play with a triangle? Not many, especially if you are a slime.

Aisha: "YEAH! LET'S ROCK THIS JOINT!" =D

Late, too distracted by trying to fly and play at the same time, poor Saeta accidently crashes into the auditorium's sidewall causing her to swallow her ocarina. XD

Neat jam session, Sergit. Say, does Shinku play classical music on her violin or does she play it as a fiddle and play folk music? =)

Then, Serpis takes advantage of the confusion to finally snatch Emily and stuff her into her tail.

As for Shinku, I am not sure. She improvises, mostly. But the songs she plays are based on classic melodies that she heard at home when she was little. She spices the songs up every now and then, though.
