Soooo once upon a time me and a friend had an idea, the idea being that Mordecai would make a good MLP villain. Big, friendly owl that turns around and gluts himself on ponies given the chance? Sounds legit enough to me (though to be fair, whether or not he could fit is really somewhat over my head cause I never watched a huge ton of the show). Anyway, this and the next few images came from that thought, so, enjoy. :>

It seemed like an easy enough task, to be sure. Along the edge of Ponyville, near the Everfree Forest, a giant owl had moved out of the forest and into the neighborhood. He was even playing the part of a gracious host and having a welcoming party at his own house. Of course, most ponies were too afraid of a giant owl to go to meet him, but Twilight and her friends were sent as a special envoy to welcome him into the community. What could really go wrong? Mordecai was a tad intimidating, being many times the ponies' size, but he was amazingly friendly as he showed them inside, cheerful and jolly even. There was even a surprise planned, he told them, which made Twilight nervous, but everyone else was having such a good time in the presence of a charismatic owl like Mordecai, it didn't seem like anything bad could or would happen.
