This is an episode from the life of Draco the moray eel, back then when he was "only" one and a half metres long.
I guess uploading this around shark week probably makes me a horrible person, but I wanted to make another Draco story again and the season dictates to do something with sharks, so here it is.
(My past self would totally kick me in the teeth for this)

I'm quite liking this series! I wonder how much bigger Draco and his meals are going to get...

This is a look back in time. If you go one or two stories earlier, I described how he could no longer fool the small sharks to fall into his trap because he fills out the entirety of his cave now. The current Draco would be more actively seeking out his prey.

Thank you. He is a fun little glutton isn't he?

Greedy pred, detailed digestion and plausible vore. Amazing. I would have only added some comments about the shark's teeth being damaged inside Draco's stomach. Hard tissues are sensitive to acid. And I say teeth, well, because a shark's bones are not hard tissues, hehe.

Thank you for the nice comment. Your suggestion makes sense. I habe read deep sea sharks even swallow their own teeth when they fall out to keep the valuable minerals. I don't know about morays but sharks certainly do digest all of their prey, the only exception being feathers as far as I know.

Fur (or hair), claws, beaks and feathers are not digestible. Other than that, pretty much anything in an animal body can be digested by another animal (including humans)
