I meant to get this uploaded last night, so, apologies. I waffled a bit about this one, so I hope it's worth it. A lot of questions get answered here!

I'm glad the uh eatin' bit didn't turn you off too much. I hope I'd made it clear that there wasn't any blood or flesh being eaten, just soul.

Yeah it was pretty clear. When Sam noticed the blue substance i remembered that a 'water like' substance had spread from Sam's fingers into the tank that woke up the Id's body.
I also remembered where Moonshaker said a couple of chapters ago needing to have people's 'life Juices' when they ate them or it did nothing for them.
Which now makes more sense as to why she could not describe it.

Eh heh... *awkward* it actually was clear.
I accidentally misread 'strands' as 'strings' and was in middle of third sentece after that when thought hit me '...wait, did she at the end bite into her shirt or something?' and didn't notice my error till waaaaaay later (like, several hours later after you replied) so... my bad. You good.
