Yeah, there are a few story elements that require an understanding of the Kantai Collection game, sorry about that.
For anyone else curious, Naka is a somewhat undesirable ship who often gets crafted while you're trying to build other, better ships. So you often get a lot of copies of Naka and she is famous for being 'scrapped'.
