More extremely old retro art found.

I created a race of aliens years back called Astropods. They were basically giant banana slugs that were psychovores, feeding off psychic energy created by other living creatures. Not too much, because solitary exposure to one could cause fatigue, delirium and psychological damage. They were paired with groups of 4-5 people minimum to feed safely, and as a byproduct they acted as inter-species translators, translating people's thoughts into language understandable across races. Even races that otherwise have no language of their own. Most of them are bipedal, and the eyestalks on their heads also contain their brains which are retractable. Also, they are symbiotic and require DNA from other species to gain helpful traits, and can be customized to survive on a variety of different planets (Ice, ocean, lava) by breeding with the alien species that live on those planets.

This was my idea for a breeding queen. The holes on the side are there for taking in new DNA (basically glory holes). The big hole is for birthing eggs.
