The final HPL pic for this Halloween season , and of course I had to end it with the Great Old One himself, Cthulhu!

I really wanted to only do a vague outline of him, since everyone at this point knows what he looks like, so I wanted to change it up a bit, and I think it worked pretty well. Remember, if you've read the novel, to know more about or to even look on Cthulhu, is to go MAD! Same goes for R'lyeh in the background.

It's really been a fun project to do, not only doing monsters from things that I like, but trying out new ways of shading and to set a mood for the illustration.

Its been a great time for me, and hopefully it's been the same for all of you too, and maybe give you something scary to read.
