The way you draw bulges are so damn good.
Posted by Zaou 8 years ago Report
Thank you! I'm still trying to work out how I wanna draw them!

I love how you did the eyes. This bulge is interesting, are you experimenting with how exactly you want to do it?
Regardless, glad to see new stuff from you! You've quickly become one of my favorite artists!

Yeah, I'm still trying to experiment with how I wanna go about my bulges and such. But I think I getting somewhere with it! Also thank you for the kind words again and Im very flattered!

Heyya Zaou. Glad to see you're still with us, and even better to see you submit something, haha. I kid, I kid.
Really like how you did the bulge of the catgirl. The addition of what I like to call "squirming lines" adds to it, which I felt your Fire Emblem pictures could've used. Combine these lines with the noises Corrin made in them, and you got a winning formula. That and I kinda like seeing lady pred's breasts resting on the heads of prey. Adds a sorta kinky humiliation aspect to it.
If you're still finding it hard to figure out just how you want to do bulges, nothing beats just doing as many different types as possible, though watching artist's streams likely can't hurt. You're definitely getting better at framing, it's much easier to see the whole scene in this picture. That and, I'm a sucker for girls in skintight bellies, haha.
Anyway, would love to see more from you man. Keep at it, you're definitely on a good track here.

Haha, I'll try to be around more! Thank you again for the input man and I'll take your very helpful advice like before! I'm also glad to hear that the picture's doing better with this type of concept. I wanna get this right if I can!

Well, you make me feel so wise and sagely with that praise! Haha. Though, what do you mean specifically with "this type of concept"? Curious.
Also, I did want to note that I notice most of your pictures seem to be from a very, I guess you can say, flat perspective? Like in your Corrin and Camilla picture, the last one is presenting the POV as being a bit below Camilla, while here the POV is essentially on a flat plain across from the picture's subject. It's not really a big deal, simply something I noticed from your past pictures, and especially with the last one.
If you want some helpful advice on bulges, you should hit up my buddy NAC. While it may be a little biased of me to suggest them because I tend to write all their stories, dialogue, and titles for them (ohoho!), they're more than willing to help out a fellow artist get better, like how I try to do as well.
Never hurts to reach out and ask for help, all people gotta do is ask.

Yeah, the flat perspective is just my "basis" for a good chunk of pictures I do. I try not to leave characters in a blank space too much since it can take away a little from a scene. It's sort of my "training wheels" to apply more for a better artistic challenge! It's just with vore I'm starting off a little easy, and definitely experimenting with things! (Specifically the vore itself!) However in the future I will try drawing vore from different angles and such! Just bear with me a little longer! lol Oh, and what I meant by "concept," was just drawing vore in general since it's still very new ground to me!

That's a completely fine, acceptable answer. I figured you were aware of and doing this intentionally, so I didn't want to focus on it too much, just that I noticed it myself as a general viewer.
If you've got a bit of concern over blank, unused space, well, you got two options. One is to fill it up with background objects (which depending on complexity can take up a lotta time), or just shrug and say "To heck with it!". Lotta artists do that, and if it's a colored picture, usually the background is just a pleasing, flat color to atleast not be so dull.
As you said, it's a sorta "training wheels" sorta method for you, and I completely understand the reasoning behind it. You don't get good at something unless you start somewhere, and that somewhere is usually basic, and at the bottom, haha. Don't worry too much about perspectives for now, seeing as you're definitely aware of your own capabilites as an artist. Though, certainly doesn't hurt to post tries, eh?
And drawing vore is new for you huh? Makes me wonder if you discovered you had a 'taste' for it, after you developed some drawing talent. Ohh curious.
