Deep within the Forest of Death in the Village of Leaves, there are giant snails. Like all snails, they are very slow. However, a few shinobi who find them might mistake them as vases. Those who sleep near these Sealing Snails may find themselves devoured by their stretchy bodies. The mucus and flesh can easily hold those ill-prepared to escape them.

Those who fail to escape will then feel the snail pull into its shell along with their body. Their shell might not be unbreakable, but it holds well enough to compress the snail's body into a firm shape. Escape is nearly impossible at this stage.

Their alternate name is Meditation Mollusk, as some clans use their inescapable bodies to make their rebellious members think long and hard about their mistakes.
