Finally, with this chapter. It put's an end to the first season of the FEVT. Now some of you might be disappointed with the ending. Thinking that it's too convenient and a forced happy ending.
And...yes I can see your point. While I will talk about the ending, season 2 as well as any major questions you all have, in a future blog (Link here - https://aryion.com/forum/blog/hungrydumpty/transfer_summery_blog_b-32847.html ). I still appreciate everyone that took the time to read through the entire thing and give a damn about the story.

I don't think that applies here. The host has become a *pitiable* character, and was occasionally amusing, but he is still a hatable asshole.

Probably the best character to compare The Host to is Koro Sensei, from Assassination classroom. He takes the roll of a villain in strides, knowing that he will be hated. However, he does have a purpose.
I mean, why was it so necessary for his competitors to not know they weren't safe? I mean, sure, they probably wouldn't have believe'd him anyway. But, it would at least take some of the hostility away from him and his staff.
P.S. Oh and also he's definitely an asshole. Even when he isn't forcing people to eat each other. I'm sure Lyla and Garnet will agree to that.
