It is said that you should never shoot the messenger. The gods, however, don’t often play by mortal rules. When you are a messenger of the gods, you are often blamed for bearing bad news. The gods often blamed Huginn and Muninn whenever they brought news which they deemed negative, resulting in humiliation and under-appreciated for the job of the two birds. Finally, after one event involved them having a goblet of mead dunked onto their heads, the two finally had enough of the abuse.
Although their intentions were merely to play a harmless joke on the gods, situations escalated beyond what they had planned, which lead to a discovery the gods was less than pleased by...

Got the idea for this after seeing a similar pose somewhere, and though I don't remember what prompted me to actually make them into anthro versions of Huginn and Muninn (Odin's ravens from norse mythology), I found the idea something I just had to do once it popped into my head. sooo...

Sidenote: Muninn is one the left (white hair) while Huginn is one the right (dark hair). Which is confusing, since their name is always said with Huginn first, yet I wanted the white haired one to be Muninn... Bah! xD
