Sometimes I wonder what would happen if Kenta had different fictional jobs. For example, what would it be like if Kenta were a Digimon Tamer. (Un)Fortunately, my dirtyass brain feels the need to inject kinkiness into a relatively tame idea. (HAH, geddit? "Tame"! Hahahaha... ...I'll see myself out.)
So what does Kenta's potential Digimon partner end up being? A Fairymon (or the even more Japanese-sounding "Kazemon" in the US). Because admittedly Fairymon is one of, if not my actual favorite of the "female" Digimon.
Half the time, Digimon need plenty of food to keep their strength up and potentially evolve. If there's one aspect of Digimon taming Kenta would excel at, it's keeping his partner fed, and judging from Fairymon's belly he went above and beyond. A big girl needs a big meal, I suppose. And for his troubles, he gets a face-full of that bloated gut. ...Now I can't help but wonder who's taming who now.
...However, it doesn't seem like Fairymon's full just yet. Hopefully Kenta's got some snacks close by...

I would love this if it weren't for the fact that Kazemon is a Spirit digimon and as such requires another being, either a human or another digimon, to exist at all. As such...I wonder who's in that body...my gut says Hinata

Good observation! It IS true that the Hybrid Digimon require a base, and it is indeed possible for other Digimon to become them. But according to Wikimon (probably one of the most extensive Digimon wikis out there), while some Digimon (and all humans) require the wind spirit to become Fairymon, others actually do not.
In addition, you can actually obtain Agunimon in Digimon World Next Order and it does not require a Fire Spirit to do so. ...Which makes me wonder when we can get Fairymon/Kazemon in a game - 3-
...Oh jeez, I did not mean to nerd out like that o wo; Just wanted to explain where I was coming from. Now if this actually becomes more of a thing, I'll likely put more thoughts into how Fairymon's evolution chain went and what Digimon she may have evolved from.

Ah, I did not know about that actually. However, if such is the case, one would have to assume that Kazemon would have evolved from Ancientkazemon, right? Since that's the ancient hero that would become the wind spirits...also, my personal favorite female digimon is Mastemon

Actually according to Wikimon, it's the reverse. Kazemon evolves into AncientIrismon/AncientKazemon. The spirits evolve into their Ancient counterparts.
And I hear Mastemon's a pretty good Digimon in the recent games.

Whoa whoa whoa stop everything. How does THAT work? Don't the Beast and Human spirits fuse into a NEW digimon? Cause if memory serves, Ancientgreymon was NOT what came about when the fire spirits combined. Also, I use Digimon.wikia. ALSO also, it MIGHT depend on what server we're talking about. There are multiple. There's the one with the X virus, the one where the main 'network security' are the Royal knights, the one where that duty falls to the Olympus XII, and that's just three!

Yeah, Digimon is actually a very complex multiverse - w-; There actually IS a Digimon Frontier movie where Agunimon and Lobomon become AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon in the finale, so there is a point of reference.

Additionally, on your Mako alt in the chatrooms, I can't read the text ont he buttons. Some simple CSS will fix that. Akami showed me the alt and Is aid the same thing to him and his words were "Take it up with Kenta" so here we are.

I think you are thinking of Pokemon needing food to "Evolve".
Digimon pretty much just need to want it bad enough to Digivolve.

Actually Pokemon don't need food to evolve, if anything they're the ones that evolve just by wanting it bad enough half the time.
In Digimon Adventure, there are many instances where the Digimon can't evolve because they're too hungry. Also feeding is an important part of caring for Digimon in the Digimon World games.

Of the humanoids, I'm most partial to Witchmon, myself. Though to be honest, I can totally see Kenta trying to make Zoey herself his Digiman partner.
