Alec Camlins infamous shadow, a fairy name Melda, an impulsively indulgent, hedonistic thing, "very typical" of her species she thinks little of any person she can potentially put in her mouth and swallow, any person except Alec Camlin she seems very smitten with him and follows him everywhere sometimes without his knowing. She owns the hollowed out temple and dungeon that hosts the CVRC compound and the area around it is her hunting ground She hosts the CVRC but is not a ranger herself.

She leaves rangers and anyone with business with the Ranger corp (CVRC) alone,

but those who wander onto her grounds not knowing names and devoid of CVRC literature (pamphlets)... well they are unfortunately beyond help
