Yeah, So Alec met lovable giant naga and future foster daughter "Linette" ( tastysnack.deviantart.com/art/… ) when she, desperate for human company (and no other reason), set off a distress signal from an old wrecked vehicle she found. Knowing her appearance might immediately scare them off or even worse turn into a confrontation she really couldn't deal with, decided to hide and stalk who ever seemed like the leader then when that person was all alone...

She would pop out and introduce herself being as friendly as possible, that way the leader could introduce her to the rest of the group, brilliant right...?

Yeah... fortunately it was Alec she ended up stalking, who figured out if he was in fact being attacked by a giant naga he would already be well on his way through her digestive tract by the time he came back to his senses.

Alec though startled thoroughly, calmed down very quickly (Tommy who was also present took a bit longer)...

so it kind of worked exactly as planned...

Though I doubt it would have gone as well if it was "anyone else" from "any other group".
