Anyway so far it looks good. It's simple so, a bit hard to really critique seriously(along with the fact that it isn't, you know, done yet). But your realistic style is something you should keep going with. It's good enough to keep with it. A bit rigid, but once you grow accustomed to it, I think you can pull off some more complex stuff.
Yes, I use reference pics to get positions, poses, and facial expressions I have a hard time with, but never do I straight up trace anything. *3* one thats cheeeeaaating, two you'll never improve by tracing. Glad to see you're still keeping an eye on me though :)
Oh believe you me when I say you're of obviously not the only one to use references. I mean even some of the best pictures I've requested use them. Course tracing is bad, reaaaally bad. Glad to see you keep your integrity and simply use em for inspiration.

And course I will. Heck, once you've got a little bit more to show, I don't mind giving you a full-on watch either.
