As it turns out, the Lich king is none too merciful to those who resist, and after sylvanas' last attempt, he's not taking any more chances turning his foes into minions.
Unfortunately for our "Heroes", Arthas still wants to make his foes suffer, and has taken a page from his minion's book. Specifically, his cannibalistic ghouls.
