It was bright morning. Donivan rubbed his eyes lifting himself from the bed. He felt a bit different from last night. As his eyes adjusted to the morning sunlight, he's body felt a bit flabby and heavier. Gazing around his own body, he has seemed gain some significant weight, and his previously bulging stomach had seem to shrank down to a more sensible pudge. The sounds coming from his stomach signal that it was still processing what remains of his "meal" last night. He grasped his pudge with his left hand, feeling just how fat he's gotten. He sighs with a bittersweet tone.

"So this is what it feels like." he utters to himself shorty before he feels some gas climb up his throat."Buuuuaaaaaarp!"

---------------Some time later---------

At his dorm room, Donivan is at his desk, and seems to be studying diligently.

"Let's see, carry if "X" equals 45 then..."

Suddenly, his cell phone rings from his bed. Startled a bit, he turns and reaches for it. He wonders who would call him? His parents don't usually call around this time, and Donny wasn't much of a social butterfly. Could it be Douglas or Brad? He glimpses at the caller ID. "Tiffany C." He answser reluctantly.

"H-hello?"

"Hey Donny! How's it going?" A bubbly voice answers on the line.

"I-err, okay I guess? The snake tugs the collar of his shirt. "Is everything okay Tiffany?"

Tiffany replies. "Yeah, I should be asking you that though. Aunt Meddy called us yesterday."

Donivan's heart sank. "O-oh. Well that's n-nice to-" before he could answer, the girl asks.

"So how was she?"

Donny freezes up with a guilty expression.

"Haha, just kidding silly! You don't have to tell if you don't want do." The mouse girl continues. "I am gonna miss her visits, but I'm glad she went with someone as nice as you Donny. "

Donivan calms down a bit. "Thanks Tiffany. Not to be weird, but you seem to be taking this awfully well."

"Of course Donny. Now I can see her whenever we meet up on campus! I bet she's made quite a chubster out of you!" Tiffany exclaims.

"Yeah, I guess so." Donnie replies. "So is that all you called about, or?"

"Well, since this is your first time, I figured you contacted G.U.L.P already." Tiffany remarks.

Government Unit of Leveling Population. A government agency that is assigned to regulate the population of prey species given their high reproduction rate. Predators can sign up with the agency to become certified Preds to avoid any legal rammifications. Any prey that has been designated or volunteer for the program can either be assigned a pred or be informed of certifed preds in their area.

The snake responds."Yeah. My parents always said it's our civic duty as preds to maintain a stable population. I was registered for a while recently, but I never thought my first assignment would be your aunt."

"Yeah, well that's a bit why I called" Tiffany pauses a bit. "I've called them today about my pred preference, and listed you as my preferred registered pred."

"Tiffany?" The snake asked in a worried tone

"Oh!, don't worry Donny!, Sorry if I sounded a bit depressed there. I'm just letting you know if you'd be okay with that. The mouse continues "If I'm ever designated to be processed, I just wanted to be with someone I trust.:

Donivan takes a moment to pause, rubbing his still pudgy belly. "Sure Tiffany. I'll let them know it's okay."

"Thanks a bunch Donny!" She cheers as she makes a fake kissy sound. "Anyway, you're probably busy studying, so I'll let you get back to it. Bye Donny boy!" *call ended*

Donivan pushes bake on from his desk, and stares down once more at his flabby frame.

"Wonder if I should get a gym membership?"

People seem to actually like my writing, so here's some more. Glad I finally got this series out of my system. Thanks you all for your words of motivation.
