I don't have animating software, so had to draw every frame, and stitch them into a GIF. I made a movie version with sound as well, and had to convert the gif to mp4.
Holy crap, this is well done. I can't believe the amount of detail you put into this, and in an animation, no less.
Impressive!
If you're looking for free animating software so you don't have to stitch every frame together, Gimp works alright, and there's also OpenToonz, which went open-source recently. That's the software Studio Ghibli uses. Gimp's way easier to use, but you can get better results with OpenToonz.
I took a few drawings I had of Claire and used my drawing software and grapics tablet to break them into pieces and move the pieces around, saving for each frame. I put the prey in a layer under the bird to make it easier to move him into her gullet. I used the smudge tool and eraser gently to put the pieces of the images back together as quickly as possible then used a gifmaker website to put it together as a gif, with 1 frame every 125 ms.

Oh dear, sounds rather difficult and time consuming ^^;

wow, walt disney much?

Yeah, old fashioned. If I make another one I'll get some better software. 6 hours of work for 7 seconds of footage is not a good rate of return...

Not going to lie but this is amazing.
Lovely work!

This is incredibly well done, and very smooth. Animating like this takes patience and dedication. Nice job!

Thanks! I am very happy with how it came out.

Looks really good. So you did somehow make your comic panels shift into one another or how does it work?

Just fantastic!
There's something about long necked preds

on it though.

I dunno, maybe the nice, long slump down the gullet? ;)
