...I'm sorry...I've read this whole series and I wish I could leave a nice comment but I can't.
Sorry...

Sorry...I just found it depressing. Like reading 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' where Count Olaf get the fortune in the end.
I'd rather not ruin anyone's day saying more. It was probably just the wrong story at the wrong time

haha! all of my stories forsake love and goodness for lust

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

So I see. I've experimented with it myself; by and large seems to make for kinky sex scenes and characters you'd rather forget. It has a tendency to become rather a bore.

Scion

aww but they are at their best when its characters you like

what kind of stories do you like?

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Yeah...afraid the only char I could feel any like for was Dave.

*sighs* I haven't yet read a single story on Ekas that I enjoyed as a story...it's largely why I started writing my own actually. Although it's hard to read my own stories for enjoyment since I'm always picking out flaws xP

I enjoy reading your stories - although Im not partial to cum digetion or furry necessarily. My next story idea is going to explore Hyper femboi / cock vore then mpreg.

Dave was supposed to be the only character that is liked/connected with. Anna is more along the lines of an avatar of lust, and jackie a lonely sadist. Olivia was left vague - a romantic connection that dave lost.

So these stories are intentionally cruel. A specific kind of domination. A more "lovely" story I have is bets off, another day at the mall, demons night out, and maybe heavy harlot

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Oh I didn't know you had read them. I will do other vore types if I am commissioned to. I like AV, Oral, Unbirth, nipple and even tail, but CV has always been tops. Hmm, hyper femboi sound quite unique.

*nods* I know. I do cruel RPs a lot, but somehow I can't seem to enjoy it in story format. A bit strange for a strict predator with an unwilling kink...or maybe I just can't abide other top preds.

I might give those a look, but between all the bad experiences I've had reading vore I can't promise.

Ah, my absolute favorite thing is top preds getting eaten, especially if they are glutted on prey.

Ive never done RPs before actually.

Do you like docking?

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

*Murrrs* I love eating other top preds~ The more arrogant the better. I have a character for RP who I specifically want to use to eat more preds.

Really? I was introduced to it soon after making my profile here, it's about the only way I've met people here

*nods* I don't have much experience with it but I like the concept and my assassin character uses docking a fair bit

It's fine, we've all read stories like that. I was unfortunate enough to read one about two sheep and a wolf where the dog moves to save em but actually pusses out right then and there and the sheep die.

I just go back to my personal favorites and read those ^^

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Yeah, but for me it seems that every time I read a vore story I regret it. It's weird though how writing and RPing about the stuff doesn't have the same effect.
Hehe, well that's probably the safest option ^^'

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

True, but there are warm fuzzies stories out there and I choose to watch for words in tags that hint at it.

Still, this series was an interesting read ^^
Admittedly though kind of disappointed Candi was killed off so soon but what ever. ^^

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Yeah I don't read those kind of stories online. Terry Pratchett is my go to for sfw stories^^

Yeah it had a gripping quality to it. Lol, I'd already forgotten who Candi was though xP

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

That's understandable, I write a story series aswell and I often have difficulty balancing out the spot light for my characters (if i gave you the list your jaw would drop lol)

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Ah yes, I have a story that's like that...one of those where the main character sometimes has fewer moments in the spotlight than any of the supporting characters and there are more than a dozen of those. Those can really be a nightmare sometimes...but if you can get it right, it can make for a beautifully complex and gripping story~

Agree'd I want to try and build a world like starwars, mlp, or something. Something big and expansive with tons of room for fans to create their own characters and stories.

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Mhmm, although tbh I'd never given much thought to fanart of my stories...but I suppose that is how you know your work has made its mark in peoples minds.

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

true, and tbh im more a story teller and I'm doing it primarily to entertain. My philosophy is that if i make a world big enough for people to enjoy in their own way it'll be more enjoyable.

I have no idea if that's a good idea or what everyone else does but eh, we live and hope ^^

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Well that does make sense :) I think when it comes to my serious writing (I classify my smut more as frivolous entertainment even though I still strive to create a full on story each time) I try not to let the question of what the majority audience will like influence me, but focus on being true to the story in my mind and attempt to capture it in literary form to the best of my abilities as an author.

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

I agree. Sadly my visual art style isn't near what I'd like to represent my characters so it only puts more pressure into my writing in a good way. It helps me visualize more clearly what a character will do or say in a situation.

Sadly my anxiety is always hounding me and that "what will the public think of it" is always at the back of my mind >.<

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

*nods* I feel you...I can draw well but apart from being hyper critical of my pieces, I just...can't capture feeling well. I use short stories to explore the characters more closely.

Oh that little voice is always back there, but I honestly just say "fuck the public" now. I already have no respect for fashions and trends so I really can't give a damn what the great and cultured public thinks.

Wolfknight130

I can see where you're coming from. A friend of mine asked me why i choose anthros as my art medium and the answer is simple: Humans are boring. I'm not a fashion designer and hairstyles just bore me. Anthros on the other hand have no set pattern, you can make em look however you want.

Sadly until I master shading my art will always look as flat as cartoonish hieroglyphics.

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

Yes, anthros do have such potential for physical variety. I think I enjoy them both for that reason and for the fact one can introduce instincts, heightened senses and habits which humans lack. And of course sexually they give far more freedom to play too.

Shading has always been something I dislike. I only do traditional art as yet and it is a very time consuming process which can make or break a piece.

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

Agree'd, however I try to keep my art fun for all ages lol. Ofcorse that doesn't mean i enjoy more mature anthro artwork ^^

Yea, I figured if I want my art to take life i'll need to learn to shade.

I never really have an audience in mind when I write actually...makes it a bit embarrassing when people ask me "so what's your target audience" XP I pretty much have to reply, "Anyone who can understand it and enjoy it of course"

Wolfknight130

Posted by Wolfknight130 6 years ago Report

I can understand. I got into art to make web comics to help give people a laugh or smile when they've had a hard or bad day. The comics that inspired this is the Dragon Daycare here on Eka's Portal.

JessicaVoire

Posted by JessicaVoire 6 years ago Report

That's really interesting. *cocks head* I'm sure I will have seen it...but I've seen so much stuff on Ekas.

If you'd like here's a link. I'm not advertising it, just a nice comic.
