When Elenne goes on a journey, she likes to take some of her staff with her. But she also likes to travel lightly and paying for additional horses or seats on carriages, she has her own special way for that, using her enchanted rings.
She swallows her servant and the Ring of the Mercifull Huntress takes all the pain of the smaller woman away and replaces it with pleasure, as she is digested. It's not different than going to sleep. The Ring Of Rebirth stores the servant's essence and memories and when the body is fully digested, starts a magical pregnancy using Elenne's body. Elenne will hold the pregnancy at an early state while she travels and when she has arrived at her destination, will speed up the gestation to a few minutes, so she can birth the servant at her former size and the Rebirth ring will transfer the essence (memories) back.

She will usually gestate the person to the original body state and "age", but can also stop the process prematurely for a rejuvenation of the person, if she desires. So her servants actually benefit from this, she's keeping them healthy.
