cute little belly and good job on using the scales to add a 3rd dimension to the picture to give that belly some depth

i hope so, drawing is the only thing i can do without causing my EDS causing me pain and I really wanna be good at it so I can do it for a living

Use guides, tutorials and references to get you going. Look up anatomy and style guides to help hone your skills and try to find the time to talk to your favourite artists about their artistic methods or attempt to deconstruct their style into something you can understand and use.

Your artwork looks really nice thus far, but never be afraid to push yourself further. Push your boundaries and limits :D

I may not draw much, but I spend a lot of time actively studying and observing how artists go about making what they do.

It's fascinating to watch how someone works, regardless where they sit.
