After the whole situation with Ms. Verde, Sophie decided it was time to lay low for a while. She needed to find a way to make money without being a notorious mercenary.

She found a small, German-themed bar a few blocks from her apartment. The manager was a sleaze-bag who had a strict attractiveness quota for his employees, and a particular dress code. Sophie got the job the moment she took a step inside the building.

It was her first day, and she was working the morning shift on a weekday. There wasn’t a customer in sight. The manager was the only other employee that morning, and began to flirt with her.
