Well if everyone is still kicking in there he hasn't digested them or absorbed them. Makes sense the black hole he has for a stomach wouldn't register that he's eaten enough.

Wait, no, not a black hole, a black hole would leave him with a mallet space gut. But point is, if his stomach is never full because it expands forever, he's technically not gonna stop being hungry until they're done digesting.
