So, some realtalk.

Willing prey does not have to mean huge voresluts who fall all over each other to get eaten when a pred shows a hint of teeth.

Unwilling prey does not have to mean kicking and screaming and crying and begging for one's life.

Reforming can still be a major inconvenience, a hassle, have various detrimental effects, and doesn't have to take away from the trauma of getting munched on.

Personally I like things somewhere between the extreme ends. I think that's where vore gets actually interesting, where it transcends being fetishy wank fuel and becomes something more. An examination of how we face our own mortality (or what would happen if we /didn't/ have to). A look at what lengths we're willing to go for another person, or how far we're willing to take things to fulfill our own desires.

What it means to be a predator. What it means to be a prey. To hunt. To be hunted.
