These symbols are major parts of the Cindyverse (or, if you prefer, the 'Truthverse') series. The one on the right, the Prey League Heart, is equivalent to basically a pride flag. With some of the unpleasant externalities that come with it. Especially if you're a traditionally-predator species that identifies as prey, certain people tend to not... like that.

The one on the left is the Hunter Heart. Predators don't naturally form the sort of group solidarity that prey do, so there isn't a widespread equivalent Predator League for the Prey League, but some of them have tried, and while the organizations haven't stuck around their symbolism has. The generally agreed upon motto for the heart is "I'll love you to pieces". Despite being the 'predator equivalent' of the Prey League, those who bear the Hunter Heart tend to be closer to allies than anything else. Allies that want to skin and eat those they're "allied" with, but even so.

Also notably, people in the Cindyverse tend to be more resilient than they are in real life, so they don't easily die till their hearts (or heads) are removed from their bodies. Going for someone's heart is a way of not prolonging their suffering (even if you yourself are the source of said suffering).

In either case, symbols are important to people. In particular, both versions of Cindy tend to have their respective Heart on them, either as a pendant or a shirt logo or both.
