Somewhere in front of her is a sign that reads:

Test your knowledge!
Answer right and she tells
you a secret. But answer wrong
and you spend the day in prison.



Somebody coaxed Mahera into taking part in a rather fun-sounding game one day (well, at least for her). She didn't anticipate how bad most adventurers are at answering her riddles.... So, after every wrong answer another adventurer bulges her belly out a bit more. She won't be able to move her taur form for that day, until it's evening and she has to let the people out again...

(yes, both are the same character, she can have multiple bodies active at the same time and they all share one consciousness)
