The first vore story I've written! First thing I've written in a while at all actually.
It's not exactly an original concept, but I wanted to do something a bit easy for my first work that I'd be submitting here. Hopefully the quality is at least decent; I'm not terribly confident in my writing style as yet. I wanted to capture what could plausibly be a more 'realistic' scenario in so far as what leads up to and causes the act of vore.
Plus, I feel Lucina should see more use. I really like her, and was inspired by her use in an RP I've been a part of.
Regardless, any criticisms would be appreciated; I'm sure there's countless things I could improve.

Interesting and good quality writing but have to scratch my head over your mention of the 'realism and plausibility' of a normal sized person (judging by the image I assume is Lucinda) somehow swallowing another apparently adult human whole and alive when people choke to death every day swallowing a bite of a bratwurst without chewing it well. Something that even looks like a person would not have the anatomy to swallow anything much bigger than the aforementioned bite of bratwurst. You would have to look more like a bullfrog for that to happen. But I still enjoyed the story so far by imagining she was actually a dragon (as they are a familiar denizen of most fantasy worlds and with a reptilian anatomy and physiology are capable of swallowing and digesting large animals whole nearly their own size and weight. Thanks for sharing!

Firstly, who said it needs to be realistic. Vore is a fantasy fetish impossible in real life by any creatures and the Fire Emblem universe is a land of magic and fantasy where the impossible can happen(like transforming into a dragon or that a dragon could fly with small wings.)
Secondly, if you don't like same-size vore, then don't read a story with the same size tag then complaint about it.
Thirdly, a dragon throat would break a human to a paste even before the human could land on the stomach like a whale or anaconda so your version is no more realistic then this one.

It was the author that brought up the 'realism and plausibility -- which is why I mentioned it since she is requesting comments. I am not familiar with the Fire Emblem universe though if she could transform into a dragon it would make far more sense swallowing a human in that form than in human form. I am puzzled that you would think the mere act of a creature swallowing a human would grind the human into paste. There are many documented instances of animals being swallowed whole and alive by larger animals only to be regurgitated later and they are perfectly fine. And actually there is nothing wrong with 'same size' vore when it is non humans doing the voring. In this case none of the tags said humans were swallowing humans if it had I would not have bothered reading the story. Same size vore is fine with many animals. For example snakes often swallow other snakes larger than themselves and frogs can swallow other frogs virtually the same size. Komodo dragons can swallow whole pigs that weigh nearly as much as themselves.... but humans choke to death by the hundreds every day from not chewing a bit of hot dog thoroughly enough - that's just the way it is.

Frog squish the insect that they swallow with their tongue, reptilians and whales kill the creature with their inner muscles, the only sort of exception is the snake, but it will still kill its prey by squishing it in his stomach. If the muscle isn't stronger than the prey, he could cause inner damages that would result in death from hemorrhage.
Also, while some can turn into dragons, not all characters can do that, including both Lucina(Blessed Warrior Type) and Tharja(Dark Mage type).
Also, due to the size of a dragon and its mass, it would be impossible for it to swallow something whole without crushing as the throat isn't a tube like a tunnel but more of a tube that can contract to push food(which result in a lot of bones crushed to a human). Reason while many animals in the first place can swallow whole another animal is because it can either stretch a lot with strong muscles or have an enormous size with deathly inners that can quickly kill its prey.
Also not everybody are into animals and monsters pred. Its not just a question about realist or not but personal taste of a diverse fetish that is different for everybody.

I'm glad you enjoyed my work! My comments about realism were more about my attempt to make it seem believable that Lucina would 'want' to eat someone (since, realistically, vore is murder, I felt it would feel like a more natural choice given a life and death conflict and a dose of implied dark-magic corruption).
If I continue this story specifically I might try to do more details on how the magic altered her physically (I know same size vore isn't realistic, but I've always liked it; that said suspension of disbelief might be easier with more details). Though now I am interested in writing a short story with size difference vore, maybe even with an actual dragon. I thank you greatly for your input!

Another way to make Lucina as a pred(that involves an unwilling prey) is in her goal to save his father from the one who will kill him. Vore could be use as either a more merciful way of ending his /her life or as a way to not see his/her passing resulting in a less traumatic result for her.(Like when a soldier would execute someone without looking so that he doesn't remember his face. The main problem with Lucina in an unwilling scenario is that she isn't sadistic or unforgiving, she would normally works better in a willing scenario.
I think you preserved her personality well here except for the part that she did for love and not for protection or others as she is someone who would try to be selfless in most situation and not thinks about herself so taking a life for a selfish desire would be Ooc. In this case though, it can easilly make sense that she ate Tharja for the sake of her lover or to protect him/her from Tharja.
Overall, I really like it even though I prefer willing vore in general.

Rereading this story after a long time, I think it's underrated, it's really good, it's a shame you didn't do more.
