I've suddenly seen this character everywhere for the last couple days.

If she's supposed to be the "what if" offspring of Bowser and Peach, wouldn't this be considered matricide?

Rule 63...well, not precisely.
New character in Super Mario Bros(latest sequel) can evolve into 'Peachette' if she picks up 'super crown'.
So internet caught up the idea and 'upgraded' that peachette to bowsette, giving her some bowser's characteristics.
