Ethereal bellies~

I had a lot of fun with these. I've been trying to design a more 'physical' representation of the taint that turns humans into Demons for a while, it had to be nothing over the top since these are the very basic manifestation of the parasite~ Even then, it's rare to find these wisps~

"In recent years, the parasite seems to have garnered new tricks in it's travels across our world. As of late, it's been observed to have taken a more intricate form, merging itself together into it's own lifeform, allowing it to consume without need of a Host. Sightings of these 'wisps' have been very rare, hinting to us that it is hard for the parasite to properly form one, when it does, we have the chance to observe physical behaviours of the previously microscopic symbiote. One can be suprised by the level of innocence it portrays, they dance freely through the air and have only facial levels of communication, lacking speech, they commune through nervous smiles and pouty huffs... It's tragic to see such a creature as playful under the surface suffer from an unrestrainable desire to consume every living creature it encounters. Close examination shows an almost apologetic knowledge of it's rampant hunger it's such a slave too..." -Layah, The Exiled.
