This was not the first time Paladin had chewed out Knight, but it was the first time she had done it with such fervor. After escaping despot thanks to Triton punching her in the face a few dozen times, Paladin had assumed it was a one off, and Knight was speaking generally. They still shouldn't have gotten caught like that, but, these things happen on occasion. But between knight clarifying she was specifically talking about being dinner to getting caught up being some dastard's dinner AGAIN, She had just had enough and lost it. Here she was, Oiled and spices, back to a grill, covered in pineapple slices, and she had the audacity, the nerve to call this Normal?

Knight, on the other hand, was calmly trying to undo her bonds, barely listening to Paladin's rambling. Almost getting eaten was just part of the job, weither it be to Dragons or Despots, if she didn't want to accept that and have a panic attack every time it happened, so be it. What knight was more concerned with was how they got into this predicament this time... Or more who got them into it. But, until she could get free and do something about that, she would just have to keep boredly responding to Paladin's Irate ramblings.

Meanwhile, Hero has escaped her own ropes. She was going to burst out heroically and start fighting her way through the camp, but she didn't want to be rude and interrupt Paladin and Knight's argument, so she decided to wit in the oven for a bit. While waiting, she can't help wonder how they got caught by the very bandit camp they were heading to clear out. The events of the day were pretty straight forward; She met up with the traveling knights, she rescued a cat from a tree, she helped the local farmers with their bear problem, she helped the local bears with their Badger problem, she got the girls help plow a field, she got the girls to follow her into a dark cave to rescue a maiden calling for help, and then they all work up here, about to become a banquet for the bandits! She still had no clue what happened, but Hero really hoped that maiden got away from the bandits alright.

Ignorant to Hero's internal monologue, and flat out ignoring argument between Paladin and Knight, Knave is just taking in the sights and smells. 3 Beautiful warriors, one that had been a thorn in her side for years, brought down low by the simplest trick in the book, pretending to be a kidnapped maiden, and were now roasting before her, with Knave herself as the chef. It was a wet dream com true for the bandit leader, she couldn't focus on anything but the meat in front of her, barely holding back the desire to take a bit until they were done. She was as ignorant of Hero's escape as she was her monologue."
