It was another day in the Yukimura household, except there was an ambiance of panic and worry in the air. Our protagonist, Shiro Yukimura, is currently looking after his twin sister, Suzumi Yukimura, who is sick in bed with a very high fever.
 
 
Shiro was beginning to get worried as her fever gets steadily worse despite his attempts at breaking it. With his mother out of town and his father busy in his work, he stayed home and even skipped school to take care of his ill sibling.
 
 
The front doorbell rang, which was odd since Shiro wasn’t expecting any visitors. When he went down and answered, he saw an unexpected face. “Why good morning, Shiro.” said the tall busty woman standing at the door. She had light brown hair and kind crystal blue eyes. It was the school nurse, Dr. Minami Tachibana.
 
 
“D-Doctor? What brings you here?” Shiro asked in disbelief.
 
 
“I heard from your father that your sister was terribly ill so I came to see if she was all right, if you don’t mind.”
 
 
“Not at all! Actually, I’m really glad you came. Please come in.” Shiro let the doctor into the house and guided her to Suzumi’s room where she was resting. She had a wet towel on her forehead, however it was already warm despite Shiro replacing it only minutes ago. She was also sweating a lot, her face was flushed, and she seemed to have difficulty breathing.
 
 
Dr. Tachibana put on some gloves and pulled out a few instruments from her bag to do a quick assessment of the girl’s condition. “It seems she just has a bad case of influenza.” she said. “Have you given her any medication?”
 
 
“I did, but nothing seems to be working.”
 
 
“Well that’s not good.” She puts her hand on Suzumi’s forehead. “This fever is terrible. I should’ve brought some medicine with me…” The doctor pondered for a minute. “Shiro, would you mind assisting me with something?”
 
 
“I don’t mind, but what exactly do you want me to do?”
 
 
“Help me get your sister in my stomach.” Shiro was confused until he remembered the doctor’s unique ability. He quickly agreed as he lifted up his weary sister out of her bed. Dr. Tachibana at the same time knelt at the base of the bed and put Suzumi’s bare feet gently in her mouth. She quickly yet gently swallowed her legs and torso as Shiro helped guide his sister’s limp body into the doctor’s mouth. Before long, the doctor was gulping down the last of Suzumi’s hair and sequentially let out a soft belch. “Excuse me. Would you mind helping me to my feet?” Shiro took her hand and pulled up until she stood up now with the added weight of the girl in her stomach. Dr. Tachibana’s huge round belly bulged out from under her shirt as she gave it a light rub.
 
 
“That’s good,” she says, “she seems comfortable in there at least.”
 
 
Shiro had never seen the doctor’s stomach from the outside before. Her belly seemed more compact and smooth than any other he has seen. She could easily pass for pregnant if one didn’t know better. She sat back down on Suzumi’s bed and rubbed her belly more as gentle noises started coming from inside.
 
 
“Doctor,” Shiro asked, “can your stomach actually cure viruses and diseases too?” Only a few months ago, the doctor’s stomach completely healed Shiro’s sprained ankle and wrist in no time at all. She also hinted at healing more dire injuries before.
 
 
“Of course,” she replied. “As long as your sister comes in contact with my stomach acids, she’ll be cured in no time.” She patted her belly. “Would you like to feel it? It’ll help with the recovery.”
 
 
Shiro gladly took up the doctor’s offer and laid his head on her huge stomach. He could hear his sister’s slightly pained breathing as well as the murmurs of the stomach as the acids worked diligently on Suzumi’s illness. The doctor’s belly was also very soft and warm to the touch. As he laid there, he remembered his younger days when he would sleep on his mother’s stomach and how soothing it was to fall asleep to the gentle churning of her belly. The memory alone was enough to invoke a yawn.
 
 
“You can sleep if you want, Shiro.” Tachibana suggested. “You must be exhausted after taking care of your sister all this time. She’ll be fine in my belly so you can rest for now.”
 
 
“If you say so, doctor…thank you.”
 
 
Shiro quickly fell asleep resting on Dr. Tachibana’s belly, where his sister also rested. The doctor smiled as she stroked Shiro’s snow white hair. “What an innocent and kind young man.” she thought. “I’m sure he’ll grow up into a generous man like his father one day. Right, Shoichiro?”
