You feel as though paths are branching out inside this room, fate seems to be trying to clip them. What do you do?
Okay, so I was warned that it seemed like I was locking people hard on this page... so I decided to go ahead and say that the next page is a major turning point for the demo. It's pretty obvious on how to follow the rails if people really wanted to, the innkeeper received a bit of an upgrade much closer to how she should look. You know, for those who really want that. But IC reasons were given for those who don't.
Anyway, I'd like it if people could give me some advice on how to more broadly and publicly get information for the real interactive. I have a lot of ideas, and I need to learn a lot, so I'd appreciate anyone who also comments on advice for that. I might make a discord group and leave an invite for it in future updates so people can more easily talk to me? I don't really get how all that works though.

I'd love to say sneak away and go to the catgirl's house for the night, but proooooobably a better idea to keep quiet and be a good girl.

Ah... the results of something I didn't intend. But I'll keep the first half of your comment in mind anyway despite your thoughts on the matter.

stay with the group, follow what the leader says to do, but keep an eye out fro ways to sneak away. If at all possible do not stay in this inn for the night.

I'm surprised at just how one-sided the whole "Follow the leader, but ditch them as soon as possible" option is.
Literally no one has thought about disobeying her and speaking anyway~ x3

From my perspective, based upon what we have seen of her, that seems like a good way to immediately get eaten

True, but I've actively avoided any outcome that ends the interactive too early. That, and who says being eaten is a bad thing? The third page has the most branching paths for the demo, but without a hint, my style of writing makes it hard to figure things out.
Either way, I'll just ask the question; "Why do you think the leader, who loathes mercenaries, would hire one for a job (her reason for hating them is a different question altogether). And why aren't her subordinates taking jabs at Celty, despite not asking their leader to dial down her hate boner." and then after thinking about that for awhile, consider how the demo takes place mid-quest and Celty is still alive despite the likely suicidal orders the leader must've been giving her. See if your conclusions work with the idea of Celty disobeying or bending orders and congratulations you've skimmed the surface of the way my brain thinks about things.
Don't worry though, the real deal won't be anything like this and despite introducing RPG elements will be much easier as the demo is directly challenging people to making rash decisions while the real thing will only end up like this if people messed up pretty badly and got the MC kidnapped, challenged something far too hard, ended up with a slave collar and losing some basic rights... you get the idea. Surprisingly, Rayen wasn't too far off with the flirting thing... just didn't go far enough.

Lets see... Missing persons reports, Inn named 'Serpent's Maw', obvious Lamia innkeeper, and a spiteful leader. Yeah no. Stay with the cat. But in the super likely chance that we end up staying at the Inn try and convince a partner to help keep watch for the night... and only take 1 room.

I guess to start, the innkeeper is bipedal. She's from a sub-species of the beast folk in this setting that basically, are reptiles. So she's either a natural born snake with legs, or one of her parents was a lamia... it's not really set in stone yet.
And despite how set in stone it looks, said super-likeliness is essentially only what happens if ya literally do nothing. Do something, different outcome, attempted derailing.

I mean honestly, I'd love to see the leader lay atop of Celty with that big belly purely because I think it would be hot. The best thing I would suggest is not sleeping at all tonight and have your weapon ready and keep watch over the group.

I might set something up later depending on how interested people are in this if people want me to draw different things specifically relating to the interactive, instead of people having to commission me for it and going through that ordeal.

This is obviously a trap, but she said that only one person disappears from the group, so make sure that it's the leader. If the others in the group are not sick of her too, try to get on their good side at the very least.

Unfortunately the leader is only mean to Celty as she's the only mercenary in the group, the other two are her subordinates and the mechanic really doesn't want to get rid of the ridiculously over-protective woman who's also the strongest person in the group considering her life is on the line.
Although it's not stated, her subordinates don't dislike Celty what so ever. In fact they're the reason why their leader hired her in the first place despite the massive hate boner.
And yeah, if the leader found out... she'd unfortunately have the smol girl for dessert.

>Let dick Leader talk, and after they're gone, flirt with innkeeper :V
Posted by AwokenedWispKP 6 years ago Report
You know I'm not smart enough to write in her flirting with everyone regardless of the choice she makes, right? As fun as it'd be to try.

Sure ya can. Ya just gotta believe in yerself. And believe in the power of flirting. :V

Try making small chat with some of the other party members while the leder talks with the innkeeper.
Also, go to the catgirl's home and spend the night with her, rather than staying in the inn. That wa, the group saves money by spending in one room less!

Catgirl escape route seems incredibly popular. I kinda feel like she should just bust through the door and just go "Come with me if you want to live". x3

I mean, cat girl gave us headpats. What has any other character so far done to top that? Until proven otherwise, Local Cat Girl is best girl.

Hehe, dis might be true.
