The term ‘Starving Artist’ made Meuse chuckle. He hadn’t starved a day in his life, though that was due to the source of his creative energy. The Smeargle learned early in his career that he could capture a Pokemon far better in his artwork after devouring them. Once a Pokemon had been digested their essence was added to his brush, and his portraits became deep insights into what made them beautiful.

The more Pokemon hung his pieces on their walls, the more clients he had wanting to get their own. Soon he couldn’t wag his tail without hitting another customer. Sure, some sneered when he told them how he created such beautiful artwork. Some were even so repulsed that they walked away, their noses upturned in indignation. But those who remained were reformed with masterpieces waiting for them; a true artistic vision of who they were on the inside. It was just a question of whether the painting was worth stewing in ‘creative juices’ while the Smeargle worked their essence into his brush, capturing their true form with every stroke across the canvas.

And so far, Meuse had never gone hungry.

Chatting with a friend got me really into the idea of Smeargle preds, so I drew this little guy. He can draw a masterpiece portrait of you that will reveal your inner beauty! But only if you let him eat you. I know a certain Hero of Clearspring who might have trouble deciding whether or not to take him up on the offer.
