Digestion process and fate of prey:

Digestion is involuntary and fatal.
Without our preplanning prey will emerge in the form of ghosts or spirits.
All digestible material is used by the body, save for water so there is minimal waste and all excess nutrients is converted into either fat or muscle tissue.
Bones, hair, metal, plastic, other inorganic materials and synthetic fabrics are indigestible and remain in the stomach and must be disposed of manually.
With preplanning and discussion magic or necromancy can be implemented to keep the prey anchored to their physical remains.
This is mostly employed for prey who specifically wish to be conscious through the entire digestion process.
Post digestion the physical remains may be removed, reassembled and treated as the prey requests.
