Getting called to the Employee Nurturing and Development Office was seldom a one-time thing. Most people I knew, all coworkers, said it was "nice once you got used to it" but never really elaborated further than that. Standing in front of that office with those bold black letters E.N.D.O. made me feel a sense of finality like I was a kid again being sent to the principal's office.
